WROC-TV News 8 is honored to receive a 2011 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast, given by the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA). The award was given for News 8 at 5 coverage of the 2010 explosion near the Rochester International Airport.
“This prestigious recognition by an organization comprised of broadcast journalists and bearing the name of Edward R. Murrow is an honor that is both treasured and humbling.” said Louis A.
