Bridget Saracino

At Midlakes High School in Clifton Springs, Bridget Saracino eats, drinks and breathes theater! "It's just so fun," she says, "and it feels like home. Really, it's like my second home. I'm here all the time. I just love being here." But you won't just find Bridget playing lead roles like Mame. She's also active behind the scenes, in everything from props to publicity. Last summer, Bidget even put her French skills to the test, when on a trip to Paris, she sang with some street performers. This straight A student is fond of every aspect of the arts. Keith Childs, Director of Theater at Midlakes High School says Bridget is a true renaissance artist. "She said, 'I might want to do props, I need to look into that,'" says Child. And then she wondered about being a dramaturg, that she might like to do that. And I thought that's her. She's so good at so many things that she could be successful in any of those areas if that's what she chose to do."
Bridget's entire family is active in theater. Her brothers also have roles in the school's production of "Mame." That's absolutely fitting for an up and coming actress who feels so at home on stage.
