On March 27, the Public Health Emergency Management Office will be conducting a Point of Dispensing Clinic and we need help recruiting 700 volunteer patients to validate our emergency plan
PODEX 2007
The purpose of this exercise is to simulate our public health response procedure in the event of Pandemic Influenza outbreak, conduct a time study for the mock patients, and to validate our Just-In-Time training. Volunteers will not be receiving any medications or shots at this exercise. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!!!

POD Staff Arrives: 8:00am
POD Staff Training: 9:00-10:30am
Volunteer Patients Arrive: 11:00-1:00pm
POD Opens: 11:30am
POD Closes and No Longer Accepting Patients: 1:00pm
POD Staff Meeting: 2:30pm
Your participation as a volunteer is very much appreciated and directly contributes to an increased level of preparedness within Monroe County.
Volunteers Needed in the Following Categories
Volunteer Patient:
Participate in the POD exercise and complete a sample health form. Volunteers may be expected to stand in line for up to an hour in duration while participating in this exercise. Due to the short amount of time, no refreshments will be available.
