At the Mountain Shop located at Holiday Valley, skiers can get apparal and whatever else is needed to enjouy a full day of skiing. The most important thing to know is to always try to stay dry - if your feet are dry and your body is dry, that helps to keep you warm. There are a number of ways to stay dry, the first being layers. Underlayer is made out of a material that keeps the perspiration away from your skin and help keep you dry.
When it comes to socks, only wear one pair - you don't want your feet to get too hot because then they get sweaty and then they get cold.
Up top, wear gloves that are down-filled. They're nice and warm and you want to make sure that you have gloves that aren't too tight for your fingers. Also, helmets are a good idea to wear while skiing but don't take more risks because you have one on.
The pants sold at Holiday Valley are insulated material and waterproof so that you can stay dry. The coats are also windproof to help you stay warm. Finally, its good to have a bag to carry water or an extra pair of socks. The main thing in all of this is to keep dry.
