breaking news
The Bills have taken Louisville Center, Eric Wood, with their 2nd pick in the 1st Round (#28 overall). Buffalo plans to move Wood to Guard. Wood is huge at 6-3, 310 and is a versatilie offensive lineman.
In the second round, the Bills added corner Jairus Byrd from Oregon. Hes a 5-10, 207 pound junior who knows how to find the ball. He finished his collegiate career with 17 interceptions and is expected to add that big play ability to the Bills.
Buffalo then traded their third round pick and the first of two fourth round picks to Dallas for the Cowboys second round pick at number 51 overall. The Bills picked another lineman, choosing Andy Levitre from Oregon State. Like Wood, Levitre is 6-3, 305 and was regarded as the best pure guard in the draft.
Buffalo concluded day one of the draft without addressing the hole left at tackle after the departure of Jason Peters, but the Bills did significantly upgrade the offensive line.
