A Hilton teenager has taken weight loss to a new level.  She's blogging about it and asking others to follow her progress.

"What I really give her credit for is that she's putting everything on the line, and saying "this is what I weigh, these are my measurements, this is me," said personal trainer Brian Quinn.

17-year-old Kaylin Cervini of Hilton used her senior project as a way to lose weight.

"You know, I figured that website idea was really cool, and I needed to lose some weight, so I decided to make the website which turned out not to be so hard," said Kaylin.

But her website may also be an inspiration to others.  It inspired personal trainer Brian Quinn to help her.

"i know as a teenager it's really difficult to go and lose weight, especially when you're with your friends having to sit there while they're like eating pizza or whatever," said Kaylin.

Brian himself has his own program called "Everyday in may".

"It encourages people to be active, exercise, everyday in the month of May," said Quinn.  "Primarily what i like about it is that it encourages people to check out things their city has to offer."

Kaylin doesn't have a weightloss goal per se.  Instead, she just wants to feel good in her clothing and be more energized. She hopes others will follow her lead.

"I liked her blog and what she's trying to do is what I deal with all the time with clients, and it doesn't matter age or what your fitness goal is because people struggle," said Quinn.

"I have an AIM address and an email address which are both open, and I have a tip board, and if they have any tips of their own, they can email them to me i will post them up," said Kaylin.
