Knighthawks try for first win Saturday

(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Knighthawks host the New York Titans on Saturday, January 24th at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. The game is the first of three meetings between the two teams from January 24th to February 21st. Rochester has a 2-2 all-time record against the Titans. Rochester fell to 0-3 for the first time in team history, following a 16-6 loss to the San Jose Stealth at HP Pavilion at San Jose on January 18th. Shawn Williams is tied for eighth in the league with 16 points (4+12). Gary Gait is second on the team with eight points (5+3) in three games since his return to the NLL. Goalie Pat OToole is expected to make his first start of the season after missing the first three games with an injury. Defenseman Marshall Abrams may also make his 2009 debut.
