Devendorf To Appeal Suspension

By: Import User
Updated: January 6, 2009
Syracuse Guard Eric Devendorf will appeal the suspension handed down by the school yesterday.  It will probably take the Syracuse Board about 15-20 days to decide Devendorf's fate.  In the meantime, Devendorf is still able to play for the Orange.  He is averaging just over 14 points a game.

If Devendorf is eventually found guilty, he won't be able to play basketball for the rest of this season.  In fact, he won't even be allowed on campus.

Devendorf is accused of punching a female student in the face November 1st.  He was already on probation by the school.
