Council President Lovely Warren To Run For Mayor

Rochester City Council President Lovely Warren formally announced her candidacy for mayor Friday.

Warren has been council president since 2010. She will run against current mayor Tom Richards in November. Richards won a special election in 2011 after former Mayor Bob Duffy was appointed Lieutenant Governor for the state of New York. Green Party candidate Alex White also plans to run.
