Arrest Made in August 2012 House Explosion

An arrest was made Monday in connection with a house explosion on Rochester's west side last summer.

The arson task force charged 25 year old Antony Simmons with reckless endangerment and burglary in the explosion.

Crews were called to the home on maple street on august 24th of last year.

The task force said Simmons burglarized the home and caused a natural gas leak inside.

A woman in a neighboring house was injured in the blast.

Simmons will appear in court Tuesday morning.
