SWAT Surrounds Home in Victor

Law enforcement officers with multiple police agencies including the Ontario and Monroe County Sheriff departments, the SWAT Team, and New York State Police have been surrounding the home on Ketchum Drive in the Jacob's Landing neighborhood since 9:20 a.m. Sheriff Phil Povero says neighbors made several calls to 911 saying the man who lives there fired a total of three shots outside. Hostage negotiators and police have been trying to communicate with anyone inside the home. There has been no communication with anyone inside.
Victor Schools were on lock down earlier in the day. Students living outside the neighborhood were dismissed on time. Students who do live in this neighborhood are only allowed to leave if a parent or guardian picks them up.are being dismissed as usual. Students who live in the neighborhood are not being allowed back home at this time. No injuries have been reported.
