Woman Stabbed on Avenue D

A 48-year-old woman was stabbed Friday night in Rochester.

Police say they responded to the 848 Joseph Avenue just past 8 p.m. for report of a stabbing. They found the victim was lacerations to her upper body. She was transported to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they have a suspect and that the victim and the suspect may be have been involved in a dispute prior to the stabbing.

The investigation is on-going.
