Greek Yogurt Pilot Program Coming To New York Schools

New York State will be part of a USDA greek yogury pilot program.

New York is one of the nation's leaders in greek yogury production. The USDA program will test the cost-effectiveness of including Greek yogurt in school meals. Senator Charles Schumer and the Cuomo administration have been able to secure New York for the program. Greek yogurt production and demand has increased exponentially over the last five years.
