Albion Woman Killed In Crash

An Albion woman is dead after a one-car crash in Orleans County Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Maple Street in the town of Barre. Orleans County Sheriff deputies say Jacqueline Dingle, 60, was traveling westbound on Maple Street when she went off the road and struck a fire hydrant. She was taken to Medina Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead. Deputies believe the crash was caused by a medical condition.
