A 61-year-old man from Waterport in Orleans County is now under arrest in the death of his girlfriend.
Frederick C. Miller is facing second degree murder charges.
Rachel A. Miller's body was found alongside Oak Orchard River Road this morning.

Exactly what the pair was fighting over has not been released, but the Orleans County Sheriff did say the fight was physical and that it ended in murder.

A school bus driver called 911 when he saw the partially clothed body of 53-year-old woman just after 7 this morning.
Officers responded and found the suspect, 61-year-old Frederick Miller inside a home 150 yards away.
We're told the pair were boyfriend and girlfriend and lived in the house, she was likely once married to a family member of the suspect.
Investigators won't say if a weapon was used in her death, but do say a piece of evidence was recovered next to her body.
Orleans County Sheriff Scott Hess said "There was a great deal of blood on her body. She was taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiner's office for autopsy and forensic investigation. At this point we can't determine the extent of her injuries. Nor why or how."

Frederick Miller is now in the Orleans County jail. A preliminary hearing is set for Friday morning.
