Police Investigating Infant Death In LeRoy

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the death of an infant child in LeRoy over the weekend.

LeRoy Police were called to Main Street just after 5 p.m. Saturday and found a woman unconscious and a five-month-old infant not breathing. Emergency responders performed CPR on the infant before the ambulance arrived. The infant was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police are continuing to investigate.
