Lake Avenue Fire Displaces Four People

Four people are without a home after a house fire in Rochester. Firefighters were called to a home on Lake Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

When they arrived they found smoke coming from the second floor. Fire crews say it took about 15 minutes to put the fire out. Investigators believe the fire started in the basement and worked its way up.

No one was injured. The Rochester Red Cross is providing food and shelter too one person who lived in the house. There's no word yet on what sparked the flames.
