It's a chance for automakers to show off their latest models. The experts travel with the show to give you the ultimate auto show experience.
"They are product experts. They can tell you everything you need to know about the car. They can answer any question that you have and that's what kinda makes it a neat experience is that you can come here, you can shop and you can get all the information you are looking for in a great environment," said Brad McAreavy, President of Rochester Automobile Dealers Association.
This year, fuel-efficient cars are in the spotlight. You can get 47 miles per gallon with the 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid. It's just one of the many cars that can help you save pennies at the pump.
"Even before gas was becoming more expensive, people were saying that fuel economy was either number one or number two in their consideration when they are looking at a new vehicle," said Liz Dwyer, Regional Sales Manager for Ford and Lincoln.
And a lot of those new vehicles focus on technology. Ford's MyKey feature is designed for parents who have teenage drivers.
"They can set a max speed that the teenager can drive, the max volume on their stereo and all sorts of things to make sure that teenager drives safely," said Dwyer.
And if money is no object, you can always head downstairs to the six dream cars.
"You look at it and you say maybe someday. Some people can do it today. Personally not in my range but I can still look and say maybe someday. It's a great looking collection of cars," said McAreavy.
The auto show runs until Sunday. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend.
