It's called the "Follett Challenge." The software company is offering up a big prize; $60,000 worth of educational tools.
"We are a very small community in comparison to a lot of these schools that are in Austin, Texas and the capitals of their states so Hilton, New York being very small, we can use the money for technology for our students and to make sure we have the very best resources for our kids," said Stephanie Harney, Library Media Specialist.
So what is Follett looking for? The company is looking for innovative ideas using technology and new teaching techniques.
In the video, Stephanie Harney showcased how Quest does just that.
"Our kids are doing things to help people around the globe with water issues. We look at eradication of polio and it was really a challenge to try to find all of those pieces and get them all within a 5 minute video, but we did the best that we could," said Harney.
If Quest is voted the best, the school could win big.
"A prize of $60,000 can go a long way in terms of filling this library with the most relevant, up to date, non-fiction. We are always looking for more to deepen our student's content knowledge," said Karen Spillman, Principal of Quest.
Quest Elementary School is now in the top 20. You can vote for the school until March 18 daily.
