The search for a missing Wayne County teacher ended Saturday morning.

Wayne County Sheriff's Office says search and rescue crews discovered the body of Frederick Dunn at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday near Lake Ontario, just 500 yards east of Dutch Street Road.

Dunn's car was found at the end of Dutch Street Road Wednesday night.

Dunn was a teacher at North Rose-Wolcott High School for the last 27 years.

Authorities say he had been rehearsing for the school play just before he went missing.

They say he told students he had to run some errands but never returned.

They say employees at the Big M grocery store in Wolcott saw him around 7:30pm on Wednesday night.

No foul play is suspected at this time.

Wayne County Sheriff's Office says cause of death is unknown at this time.
