Irondequoit 66, Brockport 44

Wyatt Smith scored 21 points and Tyler Stenglein pitched in with 17 as (1)Irondequoit rolled past (8)Brockport 66-44 in the Class AA2 quarterfinals Friday night on Cooper Avenue.

The Eagles actually trailed 20-14 after the first quarter, but then went on an 18-2 run to take control. Irondequoit held Brockport to 11 points in the second and third quarters and 24 points over the final 24 minutes.

Andrew Zimmer led Brockport with 10 points while Donald Cook added nine.

Irondequoit will now face (4)Marshall in Wednesday night's semifinals at Blue Cross Arena. The Jurists nipped (5)Wilson 54-53 Friday night.
