Spenser Thomas scored 23 points guiding (8)Webster Thomas to a 69-56 win over (9)Edison in a Class AA1 first round game Tuesday night in Webster.
Robert Aguilera had 19 points and seven blocks for the Titans while Nick Neamtu chipped in with 12 points.
Keefa McCullough led the Inventors with 16 points.
Thomas now advances to the quarterfinals, where they will face their cross-town rivals--the top seeded Schroeder Warriors--on Friday night.
