Matthew King Sentenced

A former Hillside youth worker who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old resident of the children's center was sentenced Tuesday.
Matthew King was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation. He took a plea deal back in December. Court documents said King had sex with at least one resident of the Hillside Children's Center between May and July of last year. King was fired in July from his job with Hillside. Under the terms of the plea deal, King will spend six months in the Monroe County jail and he will have to register as a sex offender.
