Hilton goalie Nick Coyle maintained his composure throughout against Irondequoit, especially when the Eagles pressured the Cadets late in the game. His steady presence allowed Hilton to win 4-3 over Irondequoit in the 4-seed/5-seed matchup in Class B.
Bobby Vasta scored the eventual game-winner in the 4th minute of the third period. Sean Robson grabbed two goals for the Cadets while Austin Bull chippedin a goal and assist as Hilton moves to 17-5.
Anthony Thurston scored twice for the Eagles (13-6-2) and Jacy Karpovage finished with a goal and two assists.
With the win, Hilton takes on Webster Thomas in the Class B seminfial at Monroe Community College on Wednesday.
