Jimmy Diliberto and Anthony DePetres set each other up for goals and it was enough to give (6)Aquinas a 2-1 win over (3)Brockport in the Class B quarterfinals at SUNY Brockport Saturday afternoon.
Justin Nevinger made 29 saves for the Lil' Irish, many of which in the third period when Brockport controlled much of the play trying to score the equalizing goal.
Zach Coughlin scored on a blast from the point to cut the AQ lead to 2-1 late in the second, but that was it for the Blue Devils.
Aquinas will face (2)Churchville-Chili in Wednesday's semifinals at MCC.
