Penfield 64, Thomas 51

Sheila Nesselbush had 19 points to lead all scorers as Penfield pulled away from Thomas in the second half to win 64-51 in Webster Saturday afternoon.

Michelle Nesselbush added 12 points and Shannon Nesselbush chipped in with four more as the Patriots went on a 15-3 run to close out the third quarter while star center Margot Hetzke sat with three fouls. Hetzke finished with 14 points.

Kara Houppert hat 14 points for the Titans and set a new Webster Thomas record for points scored in a career. The old record was 1,075 held by Whitney Smith. Houppert now has 1,081.

Candaisy Crawford led Thomas with 16 points.
