Governor Andrew Cuomo is urging residents to stay inside unless absolutely necessary, to let road crews work quickly and efficiently.

Overall, he says the city is in a stable condition after Friday's snow storm. The Governor says the state is going to send assistance to counties and even other states that were hit hard by the storm.

"I spoke to the Governor of Connecticut and the Governor of Massachusetts. We're in a position where we're going to be sending resources to both of those states. We'll send plows and personal to Connecticut and Massachusetts. We'll also be sending utility crews," Cuomo said.

The Governor also added that he and his staff were gaining too much experience in emergency management citing storms such as Sandy, Lee, and Irene.
