Students at the Harley School are making sure area seniors have a Happy Valentine's Day.

Wednesday they presented hundreds of valentines to Meals on Wheels.  The valentines will be given to clients of Meals on Wheels next week.

Students said they really enjoyed making the valentines, while seniors love receiving them.  "My favorite one was probably one that had about a hundred hearts in the background," said Harley student Eliza Blazak.

Fellow student Alexander Tan said, "I think actually over a hundred, my favorite part was to help other people."

Phil Shippers is the Director of Meals on Wheels.  He said of his clients, "Just getting a homemade or handmade Valentine card from a child lets them know that someone is thinking about them and they're cared for."

Kindergartners and first graders made 600 valentines in all.
