Residents gathered at the Irondequoit Town Hall Thursday morning to learn more about a new proposed library.

Currently the town has two libraries. The proposal would centralize the library into one 60,000 square foot building on the town hall property.

It would add space for additional books, computer access, and public meeting space. Residents will be asked to vote on a twelve million dollar bond referendum on April 23rd.

There will be three more public meetings at the town hall on March 6th, March 26th, and April 10th prior to the referendum vote.
