Disney On Ice Returns to Rochester

Rochester, NY - It's not every day you get to see Disney characters come to life, or be driven around by a zamboni by Donald Duck, while towing the Chipmunks!
It's all part of Disney On Ice.
"Everyone in the family that comes to see the show will have something in the show that they enjoy," says Danielle Leong, who portrays Pocahontas in the performance. "We have some of the older classics like Pinoccio and Snow White, to some of the newer ones like Toy Story and Finding Nemo."
Leong was a competitive skater for many years, and now enjoys more of the performance side of the sport.
"You're doing it for the audience completely," she explains. "All these kids who love Disney, and they love the stories, you get to try to bring it to life for them. So it's pretty magical seeing their smiling faces when you're out there"
And there will certainly be a lot of smiling faces over the next few days at the arena!
"It's just a lot of fun," says Leong. "There's great skating in the show, great choreography, fantastic costumes. The set, the lighting, all the special effects. It's just a great way to bring all these classics to life."
