After a slow opening quarter, Bishop Kearney picked up the effort on both ends of the floor, resulting in a 68-53 win over Bishop Timon of Section VI.

Alvin English finished with a team-high 21 points for the Kings and senior guard Antwoine Anderson scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half.

The two giants in BK's front-court Thomas Bryant (14 points) and Chinonso Obokoh (7 points) each made life very difficult for Bishop Timon.

With the win, Kearney moves above .500 for the first time this season. The Kings are now 8-7.
