Burger King Drops Supplier Over Tainted Meat

Burger King has cut ties with a company that found traces of horse meat in its burger patties at a facility.
Silvercrest Foods found traces of horse meat last week. Burger King said the tainted patties came from a sub-contractor from Poland. Silvercrest only supplied patties to Burger King's European restaurants. Burger King says the tainted meat was never sold in restaurants.
