The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) provides financial relief to officers and their families impacted by tragedy. The campaign was started by Rochester Police Lieutenant Frank DiPrimo. DiPrimo wanted to raise money for officers impacted by Hurricane Sandy. The $12,750 check was presented to NAPO to help with Sandy relief. A check was also presented to the family of fallen Webster Police Lieutenant and firefighter Mike Chiapperini, who was killed in the Christmas Eve shooting on Lake Road.
