A hair salon in Webster is doing what they can to help the West Webster Fire Department.

Larijames Salon and Spa on Empire Boulevard held a five hour cut-a-thon Sunday. The cuts were $25; money that will go to the injured and fallen firefighters in West Webster.

All of the salon's employees donated their time to the event. The proceeds will be presented to the families of Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Koczowka this coming Tuesday at a benefit raffle at the Webster Applebees.
