The Greater Rochester Cheer-Dance Championships

The Greater Rochester Cheer-Dance championships were Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena.

Over 100 high school teams competed in 25 divisions.

Even the judges had a moment.

Winners of the event are referred to as the "Elite Eight". This year's champs included varsity teams from Spencerport, Fairport, Gates-Chili, Aquinas and Greece Athena, plus the Penfield Dance Team..
