The students gathered to assist a variety of local and international organizations, from making birthday bags for the Bay Street Food Cupboard to bundling up Hershey's kisses for kids in the hospital.
Student Amy Smith said the time was well spent. "I would feel bad if I was just stitting at home watching TV while other people are making stuff for other people and making a difference in the world," she said.
Fellow student Catherine Alexis added, "It was really fun and I like making stuff for other people and I think they're very happy for it."
This is the sixth year the Harley School has participated with these King holiday service projects.
