Tributes Planned In Honor Of Sandy Hook Victim With Local Connection

Two projects are in the works to pay tribute to the niece of a local couple who died in the Newtown, Connecticut mass shooting.
The family of six-year-old Catherine Hubbard plans to build the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown. Hubbard's parents say she was an avid lover of animals and they felt this would be a great way to honor her memory. Catherine is the niece of Daniel Sullivan and Kelly McCormick-Sullivan, who live in Pittsford. Their son, nine year old Jack, is leading "Catherine's Peace Team" to raise money to build the sanctuary. Jack spoke to Maureen McGuire about the cousin he loved so much.
