Man Dies After Car Accident in Orleans County

Orleans County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of a deadly car accident.

The accident happened on Route 104 near Crandall Road just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning. A Democrat and Chronicle delivery vehicle and a Dodge Neon collided head on.

The driver of the delivery car, 21-year-old Edward Schneider, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. He is in satisfactory condition as of Sunday evening.

His passenger, 21-year-old Christopher Swan, was flown to Strong via Mercy Flight.

The driver of the Dodge Neon, 22-year-old, Cameron Hess was pronounced dead on the scene.
