In honor of "Day of Service" students from Nazareth College and Saint John Fisher spent the morning volunteering. The students headed to the River Edge Manor, and independent living center, in Rochester.

Students interacted with residents while wearing shirts that read "King for a Day' in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

The event included a group discussions between students and residents, reflecting on how times have changed since the days of segregation.

Residents at River Edge were encouraged to share stories of how they were impacted by segregation.
