Toyota Settles Over Wrongful Death Suits

Toyota has settled the first hundreds of wrongful death lawsuits.

The lawsuit was based on claims that sudden, unintended acceleration of Toyota vehicles caused deaths and injuries. Thursday's settlement involved the death of a couple in Utah three years ago. Their Toyota Camry slammed into a wall. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
