Man Shot In Car On Lyell Ave.

A man is recovering at Strong Hospital after being shot in his car on Lyell Avenue early Thursday morning.
Rochester police say the shooting happened around 1 a.m. along Lyell Avenue near Sherman Street. They believe the man was sitting in his car when another man fired five or six shots at the car with a shotgun.
The victim was hit through his car window. He was able to drive himself to the hospital. Police say the man's injuries are not life threatening.
The search for a suspect continues.
