Man Arrested For Shooting Inside Popular Monroe Ave. Hotspot

Rochester Police have made an arrest in the shooting of a 31-year-old Fairport woman at a popular Monroe Avenue restaurant early Sunday morning.
James Harvey, 30, is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say he shot Jackie Walker, 31, in the lower body. Police say that restaurant security approached them to say that someone had a gun inside the restaurant. When officers approached the man and started to talk with him, he shot a fire, which they say hit Walker. She is listed in stable condition at Strong Hospital.
