Finger Lakes Wine To Be Featured At Presidential Inauguration

A little piece of Rochester will be served at the 57th presidential inauguration.

Senator Charles Schumer announced that wine made by three Finger Lakes wineries will be served, as well as Seaway Trail honey. They will be served at the inaugural luncheon following the swearing-in of both President Obama and Vice President Biden. Schumer says this is a great way to show off what upstate New York has to offer.

"So people around the world will say if that's what the president is having when he's installed maybe we should try it," Schumer said.

Schumer has been elected to oversee the congressional ceremonies for the 57th presidenetial inauguration. The inauguration will take place January 21st.
