Morelle Chosen As Majority Leader In Assembly

Longtime Assemblyman Joe Morelle has a new position in Albany.

Monroe County Democrats confirmed to News 8 this afternoon that Morelle has been chosen as Majority Leader for the New York State Assembly. The Irondequoit assemblyman has been an Albany lawmaker since 1990. He serves on several state committees, including Insurance, of which he is chairman.
