Outpouring of Support Through 'Words For Webster"

Katie Fitzsimmons, of Rochester, sent in a letter that read, "it can be taken for granted that we, the community, can call you for help and someone will come to help."
David McMorrow sent a card saying, "sometimes the people we count on the most are the ones who hear thank you the least." He said he knew he had to do something after the tragedy, "they're people that help us when we need help, and it hits you right in the heart when something like that happens," explained McMorrow. He hopes the Words for Webster remind families people are still there for them, "there are people that really care about them and that we're all out there helping them, praying for them," said McMorrow.
Lori Holden writes, "please take comfort in knowing that their spirit lives on and their love is always in your hearts and ours."
While wounds heal it's clear the victim's families and the Webster community are still in the thoughts and prayers of many.
Words for Webster are being collected through Thursday, January 10. If you would like to send a message to the West Webster Fire Department send it to: WROC/FOX - 201 Humboldt Street - Rochester, NY 14610
