No House Vote on Hurricane Sandy Relief Bill

The Senate has already passed the more than $60 billion measure. Now that a new Congress will be sworn-in this month the entire legislative process will have to restart. Failure to vote on the plan caused an outcry from Democrats and Republicans from New York and New Jersey. Republican House leaders said the deal on the fiscal cliff took so much time that they did not have any time left to discuss the Sandy bill.
