Brighton 62, Canandaigua 43

Phillip Pelligrino led Brighton with 12 points as the Barons beat Canandaigua 62-43 in the first round of the Penfield Tournament Friday night in Penfield.

Courtney Clyburn added nine points, nine rebounds and six blocks for Brighton.

Nate Bellis and Dillon Mergenthaler paced the Braves with 11 points apiece.
