A Rochester man is facing charges for allegedly setting fire to his apartment on Christmas Day.

Phillip Allen, 32, is charged with two counts of arson. Fire investigators say Allen set fire to his apartment on North Clinton Avenue. Police believe he is responsible for the fire that happened at the same location last December. Investigators say the fire caused significant damage and is uninhabitable.

Allen remains in the Monroe County Jail.
