Hearts were heavy at St. Andrew's Chapel in Webster on Christmas Day. Everyone is still shocked by the Christmas Eve tragedy. At Christmas mass, the reverend said this situation has touched everyone's hearts and souls.

"Grief and sorry is not the final word. It is joy," Reverend Lance Robbins exhorted.

The church on Lake Road celebrated Christmas Day, but could not forget the shooting that rocked their hometown.

"The sorrow we feel for them is tremendous and they are not alone. Everyone is just wrapping them in prayers and it is just a shock and they have not left our hearts and minds for a minute," Karyn Robbins said.

"Clearly when your hearts and spirits are raised for the Christmas experience, it has to be doubling difficult," Jack McKelvey said.

Reverend Lance Robbins stood in front of St. Andrew's Chapel this Christmas and described the tragedy in Webster as a nightmare that does not go away. All of the victims were a big part of the town.

"A lot of people knew Mike Chiapperini. He did a lot of nice work for this community, so it is a time to really pull together and to offer them their support, our love and our prayers, and to be with one another in a time of real sadness and grief," Rev. Robbins said.

"There are people with you, around you, behind you and underneath you and hold on," McKelvey said, speaking to the family.

Rev. Robbins said he understands this is a bittersweet Christmas this year, but he hopes the victims and their families can find some sort of peace.
