Schumer's Office Announces Inauguration Ticket Winners

Senator Chuck Schumer's office announces winner's of the statewide lottery for tickets the President Obama's second swearing-in ceremony.
Schumer's office selected 225 winners from across New York State. Each winner will receive two general admission tickets to the Inauguration that will be held on January 21st.
21 people were chosen from Central New York; 22 people were chosen from the Rochester-Finger Lakes Region; 36 people were chosen from the Capital Region; 14 people were chosen from the Southern Tier; 11 people were chosen from Western New York; and 29 from the Hudson Valley.
Schumer said that because of the limited number of tickets, the lottery was the only fair way to distribute the tickets his office received.
